Representation
The PIP is a member of or is represented in:

❖Product Standards, Tariff and Legislative hearings affecting
the Packaging Industry and/or its members
❖Fora and symposia involving packaging and the
environment
Strength
Through the PIP Board of Directors and Officers, the PIP actively participates in industry discussions or legislation affecting the packaging industry, such as in the passage of bills like the:
- The Clean Air Act
- The Clean Water Act
- R.A. 9003 – Solid Waste Management Act
- EPR Law (Republic Act No. 11898)
Discounts
PIP members are given discounts or preferential rates
in PIP-sponsored seminars, conferences, publications
and other fund-generating activities.
Prestige
The PIP is identified and recognized as the focus of packaging
activity in the Philippines, and internationally such as hosting the
World Packaging Congress and the Asian Packaging Congress.
Members of the PIP holds or had been elected to key positions
in international and local organizations, such as the First Filipino
President of the World Packaging Organization, Dr. Raul
Hernandez, and Atty. Antonio Bonoan for Asian Packaging
Federation.
